CEFM Services

The primary objective of the CEFM Initiative by We Consult is to prevent and eliminate child, early, and forced marriages by addressing the root causes that limit the rights and opportunities of young girls. We believe that education, protection, and empowerment are essential to safeguarding childhood and enabling young people to build a better future. Through community engagement and strategic partnerships, we work to create sustainable and lasting social change.

Empowering Young Voices

We train and mentor young girls and boys to become confident leaders and advocates in their communities. Through workshops, peer groups, and leadership activities, they gain knowledge about their rights and the harmful effects of child marriage. This model encourages youth to raise their voices, influence positive change, and promote education as a priority for every child.

Engaging Men as Allies

We actively involve fathers, brothers, religious leaders, and male community members in awareness sessions and open dialogues. By encouraging men and boys to become allies, we help challenge harmful traditions and gender stereotypes. This model promotes shared responsibility in protecting girls’ rights and supporting their education and future opportunities.

Protection & Referral Support

We establish confidential and safe reporting systems where girls at risk of early or forced marriage can seek help without fear. Through strong referral networks, we connect them with legal aid, protection services, community mediators, and relevant authorities. This ensures immediate support and long-term safety for vulnerable children.

Emotional Care & Counseling

We provide professional counseling and emotional support to girls who are affected by or at risk of forced marriage. Through one-on-one sessions and support groups, we help them cope with trauma, rebuild self-confidence, and regain hope for their future. This model ensures their mental well-being while supporting their continued education and personal growth.

Child Safe Spaces

Child psychosocial well-being refers to the emotional, social, and psychological development of a child. It encompasses their ability to form relationships, express their feelings and navigate the world around them. A child’s psychosocial well-being is shaped by a variety of factors including genetics, environment, experiences and relationships with others. A positive and supportive environment, nurturing relationships with caregivers and opportunities for socialization and learning all contribute to a child’s psychosocial well-being. Conversely, adverse experiences such as neglect, abuse or trauma can negatively impact a child’s psychosocial development and lead to long-term consequences. It is important for caregivers, educators and mental health professionals to prioritize a child’s psychosocial well-being in order to promote their healthy development and overall well-being
